FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS :

• Is the saree completely painted by hand?

Yes! The saree was completely painted by hand. There was no use of stencils or cutouts… the saree was treated as a blank canvas and painted on it.

• What type of colours are used?

We use fabric and acrylic colours and sometimes natural colours.  

• Does the colour stay after wash?

Yes! The colour will always stay no matter the number of years and the number of washes over the years. It’s a handpainted saree and it needs a certain type of care and it’s recommended to follow it for expanding the lifespan of the saree.

• Can we wash the clothes at home?

You can hand wash the products at home using shampoo/ezee in cold/normal temperature water. DO NOT machine wash! More on wash care  – click here

• Can I iron/press my handpainted clothes?

Steam press with a soft cotton/paper on the painted parts. And its best if the clothes are ironed on the back only.
